Blood Heir Review- 5 Stars! A favourite from 2021!

The character development is so, so, so well done throughout the story. From Ana's grief at the start to becoming a fighter who wants to fight for what is right in the world to at the end her becoming a leader. Ramson from the beginning being selfish and out for himself to then learning about the world becoming selfless and wanting to make the world a better place. The character development is so good in the book its amazing 5/5 The plot development is also well done but a bit weaker in comparison to the character development but that's because there is so much going on. The plot of following Ana and discovering the truth about what happened to her parents and the reasoning behind it was really well done just wished it was clearer in places in regards to what was happening. But the feeling of chaos from the reader added to what the characters were feeling in the story which made you connect with them more 4/5 The World Development was gorgeous in this book! It's so good and

All of Us Villains Review! 5 Stars!!

All of us Villains is written by Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Hermen. I want to first say a big thank you to them, the publisher Gollancz, and Netgalley for providing me a free copy to review! So let's get into it. I was not fully prepared on just how much I would grow to care about the characters. Even though these characters are not nice people (trust me they are not), the writers still ensure that they come across as human which I think is really important when writing these types of characters as it gives them an element of depth. This also allowed them to do great character development throughout the novel which also made sense to the characters. I really enjoyed the way the character development was done and I would say it's the novel's biggest strength. Another element I really enjoyed was the world development, I thought it was really fleshed out whilst still leaving some intrigue that makes me want to find out more. I really loved learning about all of the diffe

Burden Falls Review!

I adored this story and highly recommend it to anyone who loves murder mysteries, drama, and the paranormal. I started this story and could not put it down. I loved the twists and turns this story went and how it all made sense at the very end.  The character development of our main character, Ava is really great throughout the novel as she faces her fears and ends up breaking the cycle of hate that has cursed the Thorns and Millers for centuries. The plot development is incredible throughout the whole novel, especially in relation to Sadie and the murder mystery. I loved finding out the family history of the Thorns and Miller's as well as how they are are related to the Sadie legend. I found the pacing was very consistent and it really hooked me straight away. I loved how the descriptive tone was used when adding atmosphere into the story and how every character had their own voice and personality. Overall, I really loved this story and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants

Edie In Between Review!

"As it is above, so below" Edie in Between written by Laura Sibson is such a fantastic witchy read! I adore all of the witchy elements in this book including tarot, crystals, spells, rituals, magic, and finding magical items! One thing I really loved was the lgbtqia+ representation in this book, I felt like it was very well done! So if you love sapphic reads, Edie in Between is definitely for you! The relationship built in this story I felt was really well developed! I also love the way that grief is handled in this story, the fact that it is not something you just get over, but it stays with you always. Sometimes as Edie learned that grief can be a reminder of love, which is in itself is a powerful form of magic. I think the way that it was handled sensitively through the plot was really well done. I also loved the language used in this story, especially when it came to magic. It also helped to make the story more immersive which I really liked. I think my only issue was t
